Almond Hummus

This is absolutely delicious, free of chick peas and provides vitamin E, magnesium and calcium

Almond Hummus

Makes about 2.5 cups
  • 2 cups almonds, soaked for 12 hours and rinse
  • 2/3 cup raw organic tahini
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Juice of 2 small lemons (easy on the lemons - too much can be too much)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
Combine all ingredients in a food processor/blender and puree.
