This is absolutely delicious, free of chick peas and provides vitamin E, magnesium and calcium
Almond Hummus
Makes about 2.5 cups
- 2 cups almonds, soaked for 12 hours and rinse
- 2/3 cup raw organic tahini
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of 2 small lemons (easy on the lemons - too much can be too much)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
